What is ULSA?

ULSA is an acronym derived from the UltraSonic Anemometer, an ultrasonic wind direction and speed meter.

ULSA is a technology born during the research and development of gliding recovery balloons in STRATOVISION. By purchasing ULSA, STRATOVISION can continue its journey towards the development of new balloon technologies.

Can it be used outdoors?

ULSA M5B / BASIC is not waterproof. Please use it indoors or temporarily outdoors under clear weather conditions (avoid using it in outdoor applications during rainy weather).

Examples: drone mounting, indoor airflow measurement, etc.

How do I install it?

There is a 1/4-20 UNC screw on the bottom surface. You can mount and install it using your camera tripod.
